Q: How do I log in to Khafre Back Office?

  1. Go to http://www.khafreportal.com
  2. At the top of the page under Customer Login click the Khafre button
  3. Enter your Khafre username
  4. Enter your password
  5. Click the OK button

 

Q: How do I change my account password?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the home icon in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. Click the Personal Information button in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
  4. Type your new password into the “New Password” field
  5. Retype the same password in the “Confirm New Password” field
  6. Click the OK button

Q: How do I recover my lost password?
A:

  1. Go to https://www.khafreonline.com/express/forgot_password.jsp
  2. Type your Khafre email address in the box and click submit
  3. Your Khafre password will be emailed to you
    • (NOTE:) If you do not receive an email, please contact the Khafre administrator at your company and ask them to update and supply your Khafre password.

 

Q: What is a Username Alias and how do I create one for logging into Khafre?
A:
A username Alias is an alternate login user id. Your Khafre System Administrator may have used your email address (for example) as your primary login user id. When you create and Username Alias your are creating a second login User ID to use when accessing your account. (View PDF) (View Video)

  1. Log in to Khafre at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the home icon in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. Click the Personal Information button in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
  4. Type your desired username alias in the appropriate box
  5. Click the OK button
    • (NOTE:) If prompted to change your password enter a new password in the New password field and re-enter the new password in the Confirm Password field then click OK. 

 

Q: How do I change my account email address?

  1. Log in to Khafre at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the home icon in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. Click the Personal Information button in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
  4. Type your new email address into the appropriate field
  5. Click the OK button

 

Q: How do I view a company resource document?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Resources icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
  3. In the Actions column click the Open link next to the resource you wish to view
  4. When prompted click the Open button
  5. In the windows dialog box select Open with then select what program you wish to view the document in.
  6. Click the OK button

 

Q: How do I update my personal information?

Personal Pipeline & File Management FAQs

Q: How do I update status on a client file?
A:
Changing status on a file is performed through Products. When a file is complete, submit a product order for the service that client is looking for. If you have order processing rights you can follow the steps below: (View PDF) (View Video)

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Order Processing tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the View link to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Select the current status of the product order in the Process Tracking pull-down menu
  6. Click the Update button to save your changes
  7. Click OK to save your changes

 

Q: How do I add exhibits to a client file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Click the Exhibits List tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Click the Upload New Exhibit button
  7. Select the type of exhibit you are uploading from the pull-down list
  8. Click the Browse button
  9. Navigate to the file on your hard drive you wish to upload
  10. Left-click that file and click OK or Open (varies by browser)
  11. Select Copy to Master File yes/no if applicable
  12. Click the Upload button

 

Q: How do I open an exhibit?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Click the Exhibits List tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Click the green check to the right of the exhibit you wish to view
  7. The Open-With dialog box will display
  8. Choose the program to open the file with
  9. Click OK

 

Q: How do I add a note to a client file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Click the Notes tab in the left hand navigation menu
  6. Click the New button
  7. Select the Note Type in the pull-down list
  8. Select whether you want the note to be viewable by the client (when they log in to MyKhafre)
  9. Type your note
  10. Mark whether you want the note to be copied to the Master File yes/no (If applicable)
  11. Click the Create button

 

Q: How do I make a note in a client file visible to the client?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Click the Alerts/Reminders tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Click the green check to the right of the note you wish to update
  7. Change the Client Viewable Yes/No radio button to "Yes"
  8. Click the OK button

 

Q: How do I add an alert/reminder alert to a client file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Click the Alerts/Reminders tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Click the New Alert button
  7. Enter the text you want to displayed when the reminder is triggered
  8. Type in the date you want the reminder to trigger or use the pull-down calendar to select the date
  9. Select the time of day you want the reminder to trigger
  10. Select the alert type from the pull-down list
  11. Check the name(s) of the people who should receive the reminder
  12. Click Create

 

Q: How do I view all alerts and reminders I have pending for my entire pipeline?

Q: How do I view all alerts and reminders I have pending for a specific file?

  3. Click the Pipeline button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen
  4. Select Open in the Actions column for the file you wish to open
  5. Click the green check located to the right of the Actions column to execute the open command
  6. Once the file is open click the Alerts/Reminders button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen

 

Q: How do I view alerts and reminders that are set to trigger in the future?

  3. Click the Pipeline button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen
  4. Select Open in the Actions column for the file you wish to open
  5. Click the green check located to the right of the Actions column to execute the open command
  6. Once the file is open click the Alerts/Reminders button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen
  7. In the dialog box that opens click the Future Alerts radio button

 

Q: How do I close an alert/reminder?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the home icon in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. Click the Pipeline button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen
  4. Select Open in the Actions column for the file you wish to open
  5. Click the green check located to the right of the Actions column to execute the open command
  6. Once the file is open click the Alerts/Reminders button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen
  7. In the dialog box that displays look for the alert you wish to close > in the Actions column select Close from the pull-down menu
  8. A dialog box appears asking you to confirm your request to close the alert. Click OK

 

Q: How do I view closed alerts/reminders?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the home icon in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. Click the Pipeline button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen
  4. Select Open in the Actions column for the file you wish to open
  5. Click the green check located to the right of the Actions column to execute the open command
  6. Once the file is open click the Alerts/Reminders button in the navigation menu along the left hand side of the screen
  7. In the dialog box that opens click the Closed Alerts radio button

 

Q: How do I make an alert visible to another user?
A: This can only be done when the alert/reminder is first created. If you would like to add an alert and make it visible to another user create a new alert (View PDF) (View Video)

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Click the Alerts/Reminders tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Click the New Alert button
  7. Enter the text you want to displayed when the reminder is triggered

Q: How do I give another user access to my file?

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to open
  5. Click the File Usage tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Click the File Access tab in the File Usage dialog box
  7. Click the Add button
  8. Check the name(s) of the users you want to give indirect pipeline access to for this file

 

Q: How do I view a file another user has given me access to?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Indirect Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Click the green check to the right of the file you wish to view

 

Q: How do I generate a document?
A:
Depending on your rights you may or may not be able to generate documents or you may be limited to only being able to generate certain documents These permissions are set on a document by document basis and are applied based on user type. Contact your Khafre System Administrator if you feel you should have access to generate a document but it is not visible to you. (View PDF) (View Video)

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. In the Actions column select "Open With" from the Actions pull-down menu for the file you wish to open
  5. Select which screen you want to open the file into using the Screen pull-down menu
  6. Click OK
  7. Click Document Generation
  8. Select the Document Type from the pull-down menu
  9. Select whether you want to Generate a Document from your Branch or from Another Branch using the radio button options
  10. Select the document you wish to generate from the appropriate pull-down menu
  11. Click Process

NOTE: If you do not see the document you want, then it may be a different Document Type, it may come from a different branch or you may not have rights to generate that document.

 

Q: How do I view previous versions of a generated document?
A:
Khafre stores a history of generated documents with a read-only copy of the file along with a time/date stamp. This way if you change the file data and re-generate the document you can easily review the differences. (View PDF) (View Video)

  1. Log in to Khafre Back Office at http://www.khafreonline.com/app
  2. Click the Home icon in the upper right hand corner
  3. Click the Pipeline tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. In the Actions column select "Open With" from the Actions pull-down menu for the file you wish to open
  5. Select which screen you want to open the file into using the Screen pull-down menu
  6. Click OK
  7. Click Document Generation
  8. Click the History button (NOTE: If the History button is grayed out, this document has never been generated for this file)
  9. Click the green check in the Actions column to the right of the version of the document you want to view.
