User Account FAQs

Q: How do I log in to Khafre Express?
A:

  1. Visit  http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Enter your Username and Password in the Login fields
  3. Click the Login button

 

Q: How do I change my account password?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Click the Personal Information tab in the navigation bar on the left hand side of the screen
  4. Enter your New Password in the “New Password” field
  5. Enter your New Password in the “Retype New Password” field
  6. Click the Update Information button

 

NOTE: Your company’s Khafre system administrator can disable your ability to change your password. If you are unable to change your password, please contact your Khafre administrator

 

Q: How do I recover my lost password?
A:  

  1. Visit  http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Forgot your password? link below the login box
  3. Enter your email address in the box
  4. Click the Submit button
  5. Check your email. An email will be sent to you with your login credentials

 

Q: How do I create an alias for logging into Khafre?
A:

  1.  Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Click the Personal Information tab in the navigation bar on the left hand side of the screen
  4. Enter your new login User ID (alias) in the “Login Alias” field
  5. Click the Update Information button
    NOTE: You may be asked to change your password when creating a new login alias
    NOTE: Your login alias must be unique and cannot be in use by any other Khafre user

 

Q: How do I change the email address I receive Khafre alerts at?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Click the Personal Information tab in the navigation bar on the left hand side of the screen
  4. Enter your new email address in the appropriate field
  5. Click the Update Information button

 

Q: How do I view company resource documents?
A:
This feature is not available in Khafre Express.  If you have access to Khafre Back Office go to http://www.khafreonline.com/app and log in. Instructions for making a note visible to the client in Khafre Back Office can be found here.

 

Q: How do I update my personal information?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Click the Personal Information tab in the navigation bar on the left hand side of the screen
  4. Make changes to the fields you wish to update
  5. Click the Update Information button



Personal Pipeline & File Management FAQs

Q: How do I create a new client file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Click the Create New File tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  4. Enter a name for this file (e.g. ClientLastName – DATE). Please consult your company’s policies and procedures for how to name client files.
  5. Create a MyKhafre Password (or leave blank to have the system auto-generate a password)
  6. Select which screen you want to open the file in from the pull-down menu
  7. Click Create File
  8. The screen will refresh. Click the OK button in the File Created dialog box
  9. Click the Update Information button whenever you make any changes to the file or your changes will be lost

 

Q: Some of the files in my pipeline are named “My File” or are named inaccurately. How do I change the name of a file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file you wish to upload an exhibit to
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Enter the new File Name in the File Name field
  6. Click the Update Information button

 

Q: How do I add exhibits to a client file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file you wish to upload an exhibit to
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Click the Exhibits tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Select what type of exhibit you are uploading from the Exhibit Type pull-down menu or enter a description of the exhibit in the Brief Description field
  7. Click the Browse button
  8. Use the dialog box that opens to navigate to the file you wish to upload
  9. Select the file with your mouse
  10. Click OK
  11. Click the Upload button
  12. Click the OK button to close the Exhibit Saved dialog box

 

Q: How do I open an exhibit that is already attached to a file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file that contains the exhibit you wish to view
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Click the Exhibits tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Click the Open link to the right of the exhibit you wish to view
  7. Use the dialog box to select the program you want the file to display in
  8. Click OK

 

Q: How do I add a note to a client file?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file that that you want to add a note to
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Click the Notes tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Select the Note Type from the drop-down menu
  7. Mark the note as client viewable or not
  8. Enter your note
  9. Click the Create button

 

Q: How do I make a note in a client file visible to the client?
A:
You cannot do this in Khafre Express after the note has been created and saved. If you have access to Khafre Back Office go to http://www.khafreonline.com/app and log in. Instructions for making a note visible to the client in Khafre Back Office can be found here.

 

Q: How do I merge/generate a document?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file that that you want to add a note to
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Click the Generate Documents tab in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Select the document you wish to generate from the pull-down menu
  7. Click the Generate button

NOTE: You may not have permission to generate any documents.  If this is the case you will not see the Generate New Document dialog box and will not be able to perform the steps listed above.  You may be able to request that a document be generated.

  1. Return to the file
  2. Click the Submit File button
  3. Select the Document you wish to order from the pull-down menu
  4. Click the Submit button

 

Q: How do I submit a request to another branch to generate a document?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file that that request the document generation for
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Click the Submit File button in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Select the Document from the pull-down menu
  7. Click the Submit button

 

Q: How do I submit a file to another branch for processing?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file that that you want to submit
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Click the Submit File button in the left-hand navigation menu
  6. Select the Submission Document from the pull-down menu
  7. Click the Submit button

 

Q: How do I remove a client file from my pipeline
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file that that you want to remove from your pipeline
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. Change the File Active? Option to “No”
  6. Click the Update Information button to save

 

Q: How do I restore an inactive file to my pipeline
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the bottom of your pipeline list
  4. Change the Active Files Only?: option to “No”
  5. Scroll to the file that that you want to restore to your pipeline
  6. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  7. Change the File Active?: option to “Yes”
  8. Click the Update Information button to save

Client Access FAQs

Q: Where does my client log in to access their file?
A:
Depending on whether you have purchased and implemented branding you will either send your client to your web site to log in or send your client to http://www.mykhafre.com. For more information on branding click here.

 

Q: What information do I need to give my client so they can access their file?
A:
You need to provide your client’s Unique File ID number and password

 

Q: How do I look up my client's MyKhafre log-in information?
A:

  1. Log in to Khafre Express at http://www.khafreexpress.com
  2. Click the Main Menu icon in the upper right corner
  3. Scroll to the file that that you want to give your client access to
  4. Click the Open link in the Actions column to the right of that file name
  5. In the File Information box look for the ID Code for this File and the File Password
  6. If necessary create a File Password and click Update Information
  7. Provide the ID Code for this File and the File Password to your client. They will use these two pieces of information to log in to MyKhafre.

General Khafre Express FAQs

Q: If I do not have an account setup, who do I call?
A: Depending on your company structure, you may need to contact your Branch Administrator first, as they have the ability to create an account for you. If you need further assistance, email support@khafreonline.com and provide the name of your company and your contact information.

 

Q: What is the difference between Khafre Back Office and Khafre Express?
A: Khafre Back Office contains all the file management and file processing screens, reports, branch management, and user management tools designed for processors, account executives and management.

 

Khafre Express is a slim version of Khafre Back Office. Khafre Express is designed for one page data entry and is geared towards originators. Using Khafre Express originators create and manage client files, upload exhibits, send and receive notes.

 

Of course, originators can use Back Office too. If they do, they have all the pipeline management features of Express and more. Khafre Back Office incorporates alerts, reminders, email and many other features not available in Khafre Express.

 

Q: What is the difference between Khafre Express and Khafre Konnect?
A:
Khafre Express and Khafre Konnect are identical in features and functionality in terms of file and client management. The key difference between Khafre Konnect and Khafre Express is that Khafre Konnect is free and is supported by advertising from Khafre Certified Partners. Khafre Konnect Users are independent agents and brokers who use Khafre Konnect to peer to multiple service providers and who send files to those service providers for processing. Khafre Express users are agents who work for a specific service provider and who manage their pipeline specific to that service provider’s products and services.

 

Q: What is the difference between MyKhafre and Khafre Express/Konnect?
A:
My Khafre is the interface used by clients. Khafre Express/Konnect is used by affiliates / agents who work for service providers using Khafre to process their files.
